Help Marie Curie Cancer Care with Adi Granov

4 novembre 2010 Non Par Comic Box

[ENGLISH] Tamsin Isles tells us: This year Adi and I are organising a raffle in conjunction with Thought Bubble, a comic book festival based in Leeds that has a convention on Saturday 20th November. You can view the Thought Bubble website here: http://thoughtbubblefestival.com All the proceeds will go to Marie Curie Cancer Care to raise money that is vital to caring for people dealing with cancer. As some of you will know, my lovely mum passed away last year, and the very good people at the Marie Curie hospice in Bradford took excellent care of her. Your donations will go towards funding nurses, hospices, cancer research and palliative care research.

Adi has decided to donate a special piece of original art to this cause. It is a double cover for Incredible Hercules #138, and is fully finished in pencil and watercolour.

In order to be in with a chance to win this item you can either:

1) Buy tickets by donating through this page, or

2) make your way into the Travelling Man store in Leeds to pick up a ticket there, or

3) buy tickets from us in person at the show on Saturday, 20th November. The draw will be at the end of the day.

When you make a donation to this page, please make sure you leave your e-mail address so that we can contact you with your raffle ticket numbers. If you are buying a ticket online, you MUST make your purchase by midnight GMT on Thursday, 18th of November. We will be announcing the winner between 5pm and 6pm at the Alea casino on the day of the Thought Bubble convention, Saturday November 20th. Don’t worry if you’re unable to attend–if your number is drawn, we will post your prize to you!

Ticket pricing is as follows:

£3 for one ticket

£5 for two tickets

£10 for five tickets

You may buy as many or as few tickets as you like! If you know someone who you think will be interested in this, please pass the link on. You might win the prize, but you will know for certain that your money is going to an excellent cause. Please note that if you are donating and wish to buy tickets, you cannot select the Gift Aid option when making your donation. If you wish to donate and don’t want tickets, you may select the Gift Aid option and we will contact you to confirm you don’t want tickets. I will endeavour to get your ticket numbers to you within 48 hours of you donating. If you don’t hear from me after that time, please e-mail me at contact@adigranov.net. We are away from Saturday 30th October to Tuesday 2nd November with limited internet access so no numbers will be sent out during that time. They’ll be sent to you upon our return.

Thank you for taking the time to read this, and good luck!

UK Taxpayers please note that you must NOT select Gift Aid when purchasing tickets. Thank you!
