New Spawn Covers From Legendary Artist Michael Golden

[ENGLISH] Image Comics tells us: Berkeley, CA – 10 August, 2011 – Beginning this October, Todd McFarlane’s long-running creator-owned series SPAWN will welcome comics legend Michael Golden to the team as he signs on as the series’ regular cover artist.

Revered amongst comic book pros and fans alike since bursting onto the scene in the mid-’70s, Golden is perhaps best known for his work on Micronauts and The ‘Nam. He has worked on virtually every major character in comics from Superman to Spider-Man, from the X-Men to the Avengers – and well beyond when you add his amazing cover work to the tally.

He’s been a huge influence on my artwork over the years , » said McFarlane. « After having the pleasure of inking him on the 200th Anniversary issue of SPAWN, I knew I wanted us to work together again in the near future.
