Image Comics Soar With Eagle Awards!

[ENGLISH] Fans from across the pond have honored Image Comics with an overwhelming amount of nominations in their annual Eagle Awards, the most prestigious comic book award in the United Kingdom. « Receiving this many nominations is an unprecedented honor, » said Image Comics Executive Director Eric Stephenson. « Everyone at Image is very happy with the nominations and thanks all of our fans who participated. » Nominations range from Image Central creators such as Matt Fraction, Jonathan Hickman, Jamie McKelvie, Jay Faerber and Robert Kirkman to titles such as Proof and The Walking Dead. In addition, Image founder Jim Valentino’s imprint, Shadowline, has specifically received an immense amount of support for everything from their editor, Kris Simon, to titles such as Bomb Queen and Cemetery Blues.
