Al Rio was a very prolific artist! Over the years we shared dozens of projects and I have hundreds of scans of his work to share. This is Volume 1 of what could be a 3 or 4 volume series in which I’ve chosen some of the best and most representative images of his work.
I’m starting back in 2003 and going up to 2005 in this Volume. Material in this collection is mature. There are no nudes but there is some pinups which may be considered « risqué. »
Total Needed? = $5500

His childhood was influenced by Hanna-Barbera animation, comic characters like Iron Man, Spider-Man, Daredevil, Fantastic Four, and X-Men, and artists like John Romita, Gil Kane, José Luis García-López and Stan Drake… (read more in the book!)
Al Rio’s comic book credits include Marvel Comics, DC Comics, DC Comics Licensing, Dark Horse Comics, Del Ray, Image Comics, Wildstorm Comics, Chaos Comics, Avatar, Harris Comics, Crossgen and Zenescope.
