(September 12, 2008) \u00a8C Spike TV has announced that Hack\/Slash, the acclaimed independent comic book horror series created by Tim Seeley and published by Devil&rsquo;s Due Publishing, has been nominated in the category of \u00ab\u00a0Best Comic Book\u00a0\u00bb for the 2008 Scream Awards. The winner will be announced when the Scream awards are televised in October.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00ab\u00a0All we need now is for every last Cassie and Vlad fan to run over to Spike&rsquo;s website and tell &#8217;em you want Hack\/Slash to get a nice, bloody award!\u00a0\u00bb said Seeley.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Hack\/Slash&rsquo;s nomination follows a huge year for the series that has seen the collected Hack\/Slash Omnibus sell out, in addition to the first ever Hack\/Slash webcomic on SuicideGirls.com that was published in Hack\/Slash Annual #1.
