Fous ta cagoule !<\/h2>\n

Un nouveau visage est apparu dans le monde criminel de Gotham : le Red Hood. Bien d\u00e9cid\u00e9 \u00e0 prendre le contr\u00f4le de la p\u00e8gre, il s’est lanc\u00e9 dans la destruction de l’empire du ca\u00efd de la ville, Black Mask. Mais qui peut bien \u00eatre ce nouvel \u00ab\u00a0justicier\u00a0\u00bb ? Batman va s’empresser de le d\u00e9couvrir. Avec l’aide de Nightwing, ex-Robin, le Chevalier Noir va d\u00e9terrer des secrets de son pass\u00e9, qui risque de remettre en question pas mal de choses…<\/p>\n

Baf ! Pow ! Boom !<\/h2>\n

Pas de doute, on ne s’ennuie pas durant ces 1h10 d’animation. Des explosions, des combats \u00e0 mains nues, des gadgets \u00e0 gogo, des poursuites en voitures… \u00e7a bouge ! L’introduction ne sera pas sans rappeler des souvenirs aux aficionados de Batman. Cette introduction est pour moi le plus gros \u00ab\u00a0d\u00e9faut\u00a0\u00bb de Under the Red Hood. En effet, elle g\u00e2che tout le myst\u00e8re du Red Hood. Il ne faut pas \u00eatre un g\u00e9nie pour additionner 1+1 et en d\u00e9duire l’identit\u00e9 de l’anti-h\u00e9ros. Dommage… Le comic-book d’origine avait r\u00e9ussi \u00e0 nous distiller plusieurs indices avant de nous r\u00e9v\u00e9ler le visage du Red Hood.<\/p>\n

C\u00f4t\u00e9 design<\/h2>\n

Le design et l’animation sont tr\u00e8s r\u00e9ussis. L’influence des graphismes est un m\u00e9lange de Bruce Timm et de Jeff Matsuda. J’aurais aim\u00e9 voir le style de Doug Mahnke port\u00e9 \u00e0 l’\u00e9cran. Tant pis, pour une prochaine fois peut-\u00eatre… Seul b\u00e9mol dans l’animation, c’est l’effet 3D pour les v\u00e9hicules en mouvement. Je sais, c’est ma marotte et certains ne partageront pas mon avis.<\/p>\n

Des bonus et encore des bonus…<\/h2>\n

Les divers reportages et making-of ne d\u00e9\u00e7oivent pas. L’histoire des Robins est racont\u00e9e par divers sc\u00e9naristes marquants dans le monde de Batman. Ces derniers reviennent aussi sur la controverse de la mort de Jason Todd… mais nous n’en dirons pas plus sur ce sujet ! Enfin, un court-m\u00e9trage sur Jonah Hex nous plonge dans une ambiance western-fantastique. Pour ma part, je le trouve bien moins r\u00e9ussi que le premier court-m\u00e9trage de DC Animation bas\u00e9 sur le Spectre.<\/p>\n

Pour conclure, Batman: Under the Red Hood n’a pas \u00e0 rougir de ses pr\u00e9d\u00e9cesseurs, bien au contraire. Proche du c\u00e9l\u00e8bre long-m\u00e9trage anim\u00e9 Batman: Mask of the Phantasm (Batman et le Fant\u00f4me Masqu\u00e9 en VF), il est indispensable \u00e0 toute bonne vid\u00e9oth\u00e8que, que l’on soit fan ou non !<\/p>\n
