Contest To Design New Pistolfist Costume!

[ENGLISH] Many comic fans love drawing their own super-hero costumes. Bluewater Productions is not only putting that talent to the test…they’re gonna’ pay for it! PISTOLFIST – the critically-acclaimed saga of a masked, runaway slave in the American Revolution – will soon release worldwide. After the mini-series ends, another hero will carry Pistolfist’s legacy from the past to the present. However, this all-new, modern Pistolfist needs a costume…and that’s where YOU come in. « At this point, we’re pretty open, » said PISTOLFIST creator J.S. Earls. « It doesn’t matter if the modern Pistolfist is male or female, black or white, Asian or Hispanic. They don’t even have to wear the exact same mask or device featured in the series. Obviously, we’d like some sort of connection to our historic hero, but what that is (exactly) is open for interpretation. »

The 3rd Place submission will receive $75, 2nd Place will get $125 and the 1st Place, grand prize winner shall receive $250! On top of that, the three best designs will also win tons of free comics and trade paperbacks, as well as Original Art from PISTOLFIST 1 by the phenomenal Andres Guinaldo of Spain!

« Even if they don’t win, contestants will still have an awesome shot at seeing their designs printed in the back of PISTOLFIST 2 and 3, » said Earls. « I always loved stuff like that when I was growing up, so we’re setting special space aside for that. We’ll also announce the winner(s) in the pages of PISTOLFIST 4, the mini-series finale’. »

Earls added, « The deadline for submissions is August 31st, but – if you really wanna’ see your submission in print – you need to send us your designs ASAP! And don’t forget to reserve your copy of PISTOLFIST 1 at your local comic retailer…today! »

Submissions must be your own design, at least 150 dpi, non-pornographic in nature and accompanied by a signed/scanned Submission Form available at http://www.freewebs.com/pistolfist.
