Et elle ne revient pas seule puisqu&rsquo;elle est accompagn\u00e9e deux autres h\u00e9ro\u00efnes : Ms Marvel et Monica Rambeau, qui viennent elles de l&rsquo;univers TV du Marvel Cinematic Universe. De bonnes surprises dans une machine (trop) bien rod\u00e9e ?<!--more--><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"embed-youtube\" style=\"text-align:center; display: block;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"youtube-player\" width=\"1140\" height=\"642\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/RZydhN9726A?version=3&#038;rel=1&#038;showsearch=0&#038;showinfo=1&#038;iv_load_policy=1&#038;fs=1&#038;hl=fr-FR&#038;autohide=2&#038;wmode=transparent\" allowfullscreen=\"true\" style=\"border:0;\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts allow-same-origin allow-popups allow-presentation allow-popups-to-escape-sandbox\"><\/iframe><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Pour ceux qui ne suivent les aventures des super-h\u00e9ros Marvel qu&rsquo;au cin\u00e9ma, nous avions laiss\u00e9 Carol Danvers (Brie Larson), alias Captain Marvel, retourn\u00e9e dans l&rsquo;espace \u00e0 la fin d&rsquo;<em>Avengers Endgame<\/em>. Mais depuis, elle est r\u00e9apparu dans Jersey City, dans la chambre de Kamala Khan (Iman Vellani) \u00e0 la fin de la s\u00e9rie TV <em>Ms. Marvel<\/em>, les deux h\u00e9ro\u00efnes ayant \u00e9chang\u00e9e leur place. Apr\u00e8s quelques flashbacks pour faire le point sur la situation, Nick Fury et son \u00e9quipe spatiale de la station S.A.B.E.R, men\u00e9e par Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris), d\u00e9couverte dans la s\u00e9rie <em>WandaVision<\/em>, vont devoir comprendre ce qui motive Dar-Benn (Zawe Ashton), la nouvelle chef des Krees. La difficult\u00e9 venant que Carol, Monica et Kamal \u00e9changent leur place quand elles utilisent leurs pouvoirs simultan\u00e9ment. Depuis, le filon des super-h\u00e9ros s&rsquo;est quelque peu tari et les super-h\u00e9ros ne dominent plus le haut du classement. Ce nouveau volet des aventures de Carol Danvers est donc un pari risqu\u00e9. Pour augmenter leur chance, les producteurs de Marvel Studios ont d\u00e9cid\u00e9 d&rsquo;y inclure deux autres personnages r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9s par la t\u00e9l\u00e9vision et qui ont un lien tr\u00e8s \u00e9troit avec Carol dans les comics. L&rsquo;h\u00e9ro\u00efne sans nom de code (running gag du film) est d\u00e9j\u00e0 connue d\u00e8s spectateurs de Captain Marvel car ce n&rsquo;est que la version adulte de la fille de Maria Rambeau (Lashana Lynch) l&rsquo;ancienne coll\u00e8gue pilote de Carol. Par contre, pour ce qui est de Kamala Khan, c&rsquo;est plus dur de s&rsquo;immerger dans son univers si on n&rsquo;a pas vu la s\u00e9rie<em> Ms. Marvel<\/em>. D&rsquo;autant que sa famille est omnipr\u00e9sente dans le film, tout comme dans la s\u00e9rie. Que ce soit lors d&rsquo;un montage \u00e0 la \u00ab\u00a0Rocky\u00a0\u00bb ou encore lors d&rsquo;une sc\u00e8ne compl\u00e9ment d\u00e9cal\u00e9e dans laquelle Brie Larson se l\u00e2che un peu. Car c&rsquo;est bien l\u00e0 que la mayonnaise prend : les diff\u00e9rents caract\u00e8res des personnages qui balancent parfaitement le trio. C&rsquo;est m\u00eame soulign\u00e9 lors d&rsquo;une r\u00e9plique : Kamala est trop enthousiaste, Monica plus temp\u00e9r\u00e9e et Carol un peu trop froide et distante. Et c&rsquo;est un peu l&rsquo;image que renvoie leurs interpr\u00e8tes dans le \u00ab\u00a0monde r\u00e9el\u00a0\u00bb. Il ne faut pas oublier qu&rsquo;avant d&rsquo;avoir le r\u00f4le de Kamala, Iman Vellani aimait se cosplayer en Ms Marvel et conna\u00eet par coeur la mythologie du MCU et des comics. Elle est d&rsquo;ailleurs devenue la sc\u00e9nariste du comic book <em>Ms. Marvel<\/em> ces derniers mois. Son enthousiasme communicatif (pr\u00e9sent dans la s\u00e9rie TV) rejaillit ici. Il y avait-il besoin d&rsquo;y inclure sa famille pour des effets comiques ? On reste plus circonspect sur ce point. Tout comme dans <em>Captain Marvel<\/em>, Brie Larson casse son image rigide \u00e0 travers quelques sc\u00e8nes bien venues. Il faut donc avoir le regard (et les neurones) bien concentr\u00e9 pour suivre les combats qui ponctuent l&rsquo;aventure. Si les effets sp\u00e9ciaux sont corrects pour des batailles spatiales, on regrette toujours cette utilisation massive de fond vert pour des paysages int\u00e9rieurs, alors que les sc\u00e8nes sont tourn\u00e9es en d\u00e9cors r\u00e9els. Autre point n\u00e9gatif, le retour en demi-teinte de Nick Fury, plus l\u00e0 pour faire d\u00e9rider les spectateurs que pour jouer les leaders. Un r\u00f4le qui d\u00e9\u00e7oit alors que ne sont m\u00eame pas \u00e9voqu\u00e9s les \u00e9v\u00e9nements r\u00e9cents de <em>Secret Invasion<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Dire que <em>The Marvels<\/em> est un d\u00e9sastre serait mentir. Si vous avez aim\u00e9 le premier volet et la s\u00e9rie Ms. Marvel, vous ne pourrez qu&rsquo;adh\u00e9rer au m\u00e9lange d&rsquo;action galactique et de bonne humeur qui se d\u00e9gage du film. On regrettera une vilaine sans saveur, copi\u00e9-coll\u00e9 de Ronan l&rsquo;Accusateur des Gardiens de la Galaxie. Les super-h\u00e9ro\u00efnes, au contraire, sont au top.
