AND Golden will be on hand at the West Coast show to sign &#8217;em all! The new sketchbook features an array of Golden pencils, preliminaries and finished compositions, serving as a must have package for collectors of his trendsetting heroic pieces, while also sneaking in some of his favorite machinery<!--more-->-heavy works, army characters, action shots, and yes, of course, a few villains to boot.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Known as one of the masters of sequential art storytelling, Golden is the co-creator of X-Men&rsquo;s Rogue character, as well as \u00ab\u00a0Spartan X\u00a0\u00bb&#8211;due out in a trade next year, and \u00ab\u00a0Bucky O&rsquo;Hare\u00a0\u00bb&#8211;which has just been optioned for a movie via Neal Adam&rsquo;s Continuity Studios.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A plethera of retrospectives on Golden have recently hit the shelves with the \u00ab\u00a0Modern Masters: Michael Golden\u00a0\u00bb tradepaperback; the \u00ab\u00a0Modern Masters In the Studio with Michael Golden\u00a0\u00bb DVD; the upcoming \u00ab\u00a0Creator Chronicles: Michael Golden\u00a0\u00bb DVD and tutorial from Woodcrest Productions; and the best-selling \u00ab\u00a0Excess: The Art of Michael Golden\u00a0\u00bb from Vanguard Productions, which has sold out! The Second printing, in fact, will debut at SDCC as well at the Vanguard Booth, featuring a new eye-popping, sexy Vampirella cover!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">To commemorate all of this activity, Golden will be on the TwoMorrows panel Thursday, and will also be signing at the Vanguard booth on Sunday.
