\u00a0continue at this pace, we may just have to convince the powers that be that we need a sequel for this runaway hit!\u00a0 While the fans were the ones who made the series a success, it could not have been done without the hard work of the creative team, as they knocked this out of the park in a story that could be one of the most important horror cross-overs ever!\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n

It’s incredibly fulfilling to see fans embrace this story with such enthusiasm and I’m very proud to have been a part of it. With both the NIGHTMARE and FRIDAY film franchises being relaunched – and this series acting as a direct sequel to FREDDY VS. JASON – it feels like we’re now acting as the stewards of the classic film continuity,\u00a0\u00bb said series writer Jeff Katz. \u00ab\u00a0That’s both a huge responsibility and a tremendous honor. While I wish we could have gotten this story on film, it seems highly fitting that it will live on in perpetuity in comic books, the very format that originally inspired so much of the \u00ab\u00a0Versus\u00a0\u00bb concept. Kudos to James, Jason, Thomas and the folks at DC, Wildstorm and Dynamite on a job very well done. I know that for all three characters the best is yet to come.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n

\"reprint3fvjva.jpg\"<\/a>\u00ab\u00a0Seeing the fan response to Freddy vs. Jason vs. Ash has been an amazing and humbling thing.\u00a0 We’ve watched demand grow with each issue as the first four comics immediately sold out and were supported with second printings to keep the story accessible to new fans.\u00a0 Even now as we close in on the release of the final issue, retailers and consumers can get copies of the entire run to continue introducing new people to the story,\u00a0\u00bb said series writer James Kuhoric. \u00ab\u00a0FvJvA proved once again that the comic book medium is perfect for developing and accentuating film and television properties.\u00a0 As a creator you just can’t ask for more than to be a part of a project that sparks so much interest and passion into the hearts of hardcore comic readers and horror fans.\u00a0 This book has been a major success thanks to the people behind it – Jeff Katz, Jason Craig, Thomas Mason, Scott Peterson, Hank Kanalz, Joe Rybandt, and Nick Barrucci.\u00a0 Take a bow guys, you deserve it.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n

ASH #1 -4 Second Printing reprints the story so far by writers Jeff Katz and James Kuhoric and illustrated by Jason Craig. Each new printing features a variation on the art by J. Scott Campbell on issue #1, and by Eric Powell on issue #2 – #4, each unique to the 2nd printing!<\/p>\n
