\"darknesseva01salazarcov.jpg\"<\/a>[ENGLISH] Dynamite Entertainment today announces their second of three crossover events with Witchblade and The Darkness publisher Top Cow! This second crossover between Top Cow and Dynamite Entertainment takes place in a four-issue mini-series event titled DARKNESS\/EVA: DAUGHTER OF DRACULA. The mini-series will star Top Cow’s Jackie Estacado, also known as The Darkness and Dynamites latest leading lady, Eva, the Daughter of Dracula. DARKNESS\/ EVA: DAUGHTER OF DRACULA #1 is scheduled for a March release.<\/p>\n

The mini-series is being written by Leah Moore and John Reppion (Raise the Dead, Witchblade: Shades of Gray) and will feature the artistic talents of Edgar (Mercenaries) Salazar, as well as an all-star roster of cover artists, including Paul (Red Sonja) Renaud, Brett (Anita Blake) Booth!<\/p>\n

Dynamite fans know Eva, the dangerous and beautiful monster hunter, from her debut in Army of Darkness issues #5 through #8 (which has been collected in the trade \u00ab\u00a0Ash vs. the Monsters\u00a0\u00bb) where she helped Ash battle Dracula and a horde of classic monsters including werewolves, vampires, mummies and Frankenstein’s monster. Eva next appeared in her very own one-shot, once again taking on her vampire ancestry as well as an all-new deadly threat to the world.<\/p>\n

\"darknesseva01boothcov.jpg\"<\/a>In March, it’s Top Cow’s wielder of The Darkness, Jackie Estacado, against Dynamite’s ass-kicking daughter of Dracula (and slayer of all things evil and undead) – Eva, as the two meet for the first time ever! While Eva hunts the streets, slaying the undead and unclean among a marked increase in paranormal activity, Jackie Estacado is having a bit of a problem with both his Darkness Darklings as strange new forces vie for control of the city and its newly awakened supernatural presence!<\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0We’re very excited about this series. Jackie Estacado is a guy for whom evil is all a matter of perspective; he lives by his own rules and uses his demonic power as he sees fit, answering to no one. Eva is the daughter of the most evil creature ever to walk the face of the earth, sent to destroy him and all who would seek to follow his example. Truth and good are absolutes to her; there is no moral grey area with anything. They’re both extraordinary, intriguing characters in their own right but bringing them together is just fantastic and we’re having a blast doing it.
